I am a London based sculptor, working in a variety of media. Some of my pieces are humorous, but much of my work is inspired by early history and the special gift which it offers to the artist.

Recorded history gives each individual the opportunity to attain a wealth of experiences beyond their own, permitting us the chance to conceive of times and places we can never perceive.  This personal understanding and interpretation of the past is inevitable, as the imagination is not a state of mind, it is the state of human existence itself.

My aim is to create pieces which express a sense of emotion or spirit, of a time and place which is intentionally ambiguous and to offer a springboard for the imagination.
